“VDUBs in the Village”, an air-cooled VW event taking place in the Capitola Villiage. Capitola Village is a small seaside village that is located steps from the sand in Capitola, Ca. We have reserved the village for the day to accommodate over 200 vintage Volkswagens to park throughout the streets of the village.


We will also have live bands performing on the Capitola Village beach stage.


There is plenty to do and enjoy. Check out all the different Vw’s on display, walk on the beach, check out the restaurants, shop at the boutiques, grab something cold at the ice cream parlor, and play some games in the arcade.

• 7am - 4pm

• Arrive between 6:30am-9am to get parked. The streets with in the village area will be closed off to any moving vehicles by 9:45.


• The best way into the village for check in: Exit highway 1 at Bay ave, head west, follow Bay Ave as it will turn into Monterey Ave, and continue straight down the hill into the village.


• If you want to park with friends or group, please meet up outside the event and then drive to the village all together as a group.


• You must register your VW to park your Volkswagen in the Capitola Village.


• Your registration is good for “1 VW” parked in the Capitola Village.


• Walk ins and general admission - FREE


• No pop-ups or canopies by your car. Chairs & umbrellas are ok.

• Note - Pop-ups, chairs & umbrellas are ok on the beach.


• If you plan to stay parked in the Capitola Village after the event. At 3pm, the end of the event, you will need to turn your VW around in its parking spot and pull into the a parking spot “front end first” and you are responsible for the parking meter if you decide to continue to stay after 3pm.


• We are only asking for license plate numbers at registration due to City of Capitola request, In the event that you are not present at your vehicle at the end of the event to move your car. They would like a way to contact you to move your VW to prevent it from being towed and you acquiring towing fees.
